Well, I finally hit it. That point where birthdays are just another day and only mean you're closer to one of the big ones. In my case the big 3-0. It makes me sad. I've always loved celebrating my birthday but this one just kinda came and then fizzled out. No fanfare, no party, no cake with candles, no bows and ribbons. It kinda makes me look forward to having kids though. Those celebrations are sure to be lots of fun. Until then I guess I'll just be getting older.

I did get to do some fun things though. Last Thursday our office went to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate the 4 birthdays in July. Friday my wonderful boss, Jill, took me to McAlister's Deli and we had brownies and ice cream at the office. Saturday Matt and I went to a Japanese Steakhouse with some friends. So basically I ate a LOT. Oh, and I also now share a birthday with Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.

So, here's to 26...
