Dax Flame...real or just a show??
Ok, so Matt has been watching these videos on YouTube of this kid..."Dax Flame" who supposedly is really named Bernice. Basically he does this crazy video diary. I've seen a few of these videos myself and some of them are HYSTERICAL. So Matt and I have been debating on whether or not this kid is for real. Sometimes it seems like he's really just off his rocker but some of the things are so extreme that you have to wonder if he's just ACTING like he's loco. So my question is what do YOU think? Is it real or is it all just an act?

Shake it like an earthquake...
So, our day started off in an interesting way. At about 5:40 this morning I woke up and it felt like the bed was shaking and I thought that I heard some things in the closet rattling. Being that I was much closer to sleep than awakeness I just rolled over and went back to sleep so I could get that last 45 minutes in before I had to get up. As Matt and I were getting ready I mentioned to him that I thought I had felt the bed moving. When he said, "ME TOO!" I thought he was making fun of me...cause we all know that's what he does. So I went in the living room and turned on the news. Sure enough it was everywhere...we'd experienced an earthquake. Originally they were saying it was 5.4 at the epicenter, but now I think they've dropped it to 5.2. Of course when I got to work that's what everybody was talking about. Around 11:15 I was sitting at my desk and all of the sudden I felt shaking again. Aftershocks.... I have to say that I much prefer the earthquake experience when I'm half asleep and laying down. The aftershock (4.5) made me dizzy and a little nauseous. Don't think I'll be moving to Cali any time soon. However, I will say that I'll take an earthquake over a tornado ANY day...not at all looking forward to tornado season...especially living in an apartment.
The rest of the update is that Leo is growing like a weed. He's starting to get into EVERYTHING!
The Hanson concert was a bit of a let down...I wasn't too thrilled when one of them announced, "You guys are (insert bad word here) awesome!" The acoustic version of MMMBop was actually very good. The only thing I was really ticked about was that they said I had to take my camera back to the car because it's considered a "professional" camera...totally false, but because of that I have no good pics.
We move three weeks from tomorrow...if you'd like to help we won't refuse the extra hands. : )
Finally, I must give a super special birthday shout out to Heath. Hope your birthday is AWESOME!!
